Located in San Francisco’s Nob Hill, COSMOBOX is a boutique studio specializing in cosmetic tattoo and elevated lash and brow artistry.
Founded by Adela, a queer Latina artist, COSMOBOX was created to offer a more intentional and inclusive approach to beauty. The studio is designed as a space where individuality is respected and self-expression is supported—welcoming clients of all identities.
Each service is approached with a focus on refinement and detail, enhancing natural features through modern, understated techniques. From cosmetic tattoo to textured lash work and sculpted brows, every result is tailored, precise, and designed to feel effortless.
COSMOBOX is operated by licensed estheticians and registered body art practitioners, with certifications in BBP safety and advanced training across all services. We are committed to continuous education and maintaining the highest level of care, safety, and artistry.
About Our Founder (she/her)
Adela (Adelita) is a first generation Mexican-American and Northern California native. Adela’s career in the beauty industry began as a university student, and has spanned nearly 20 years as a working pro, proving her keen eye for aesthetics.
Since that time Adela has achieved multiple milestones in her career that include becoming a licensed esthetician, a successful traveling pro makeup artist, and master lash & cosmetic tattoo artist. She established her first beauty studio in 2016, having developed the entire beauty brand's look & feel, website, and design. By 2019 Adela opened her second studio, then rebranded and expanded into what we now know as COSMOBOX (2022).
Adela’s passion for aesthetics and developing artists is what makes COSMOBOX special. Her precision and attention to detail has allowed her to remain one of the best and well-rounded beauty experts in the San Francisco Bay Area.
