• Stay hydrated by drinkng at least 60-80 ounces of water daily for an entire week before your scheduled appointment.
• Arrive to your appointment with clean, moisturized skin. Do not allow your skin to become excessively dry.
• If getting Lip Blushing, exfoliate lips and keep them moisturized for a week before your appointment.
• Ignoring any Pre-care instructions can create major problems for your treatment - during and after - including excessive bleeding, swelling, premature pigment loss, pigment color change, scabbing, scarring, etc. Please be responsible for following exact instructions.
AVOID 1 MONTH PRIOR:
Botox
AVOID 2-WEEKS PRIOR:
Harsh facial treatments, peels, and microdermabrasions.
Harsh skincare products like retinols, glycolic acids, and exfoliating products.
Acne medications and treatments like Accutane.
AVOID 1-WEEK PRIOR:
Excessive sun exposure and sunburns.
Facial oils around the treatment area.
Excessive caffeine consumption.
Supplements that thin out your blood like Vitamin E and Fish Oil.
AVOID 24-HOURS PRIOR:
Alcohol/Caffeine consumption completely.
Blood Thinners and pain killers.
Drinks like pre-workout and Celsius.
ARE YOU PRONE TO COLD SORES?
If you plan to make a Lip Blushing appointment, we require clients with a history of cold sores to consult with their physician first.
Having lips tattooed could trigger a cold sore break out, if not treated with proper medication beforehand.
VALTREX - precribed and recommended to have prior to the appointment.
L-Lysine - vitamin supplement to help boost immune system and aid in healing.

HEALING TIME: 1 week
Wash the barrier cream off of the treated area, with a gentle non-scented soap.
Apply a light amount of balm around the treated area before bed.
Gently cleanse the treated area twice a day, and apply an unscented, gentle moisturizer + Broad Spectrum SPF 50 daily - for the next 2 weeks.
Avoid excessive steam, saunas, swimming and sweating for the first week.
Avoid wearing any makeup over the treated area for the 1st week, to avoid any bacterial infections from the products.
Continue to wear a broad spectrum SPF 50 sunscreen long-term, to avoid changing the color of your cosmetic tattoo.

Avoid wetting your brows for the first 24 hours. But please continue to wash and maintain cleanliness around your face. Using a washcloth works well for cleansing during this time.
Using a light amount keratin oil in your brows helps keep them looking laminated. Be sure to do this at least an hour before applying any makeup.
Wait 48 hours to apply brow mascara. Avoid any waterproof products.
Avoid direct shower spray around eyebrows, especially during the first 2 days.
Avoid heavy steam, humidity, & heavy workouts during the first 24 - 48 hours.
Avoid sleeping on your eyebrows, especially during the first 48 hours, in order to avoid “Bed Head” - your brows are still very susceptible to being pressed into a different position, if you sleep on your face.
Remember to brush your brows back into position, when they are out of place. Using a brow mascara works well for daily usage.
Schedule your next appointment in about 4 - 6 weeks.

Keep your lashes dry for the first 48 hours. This does NOT mean don’t wash your face.
Avoid wearing eye makeup for 1-2 days and keep your lash line completely clean.
Always avoid sleeping directly on your lash extensions.
Avoid heavy cardio for at LEAST 48 hours.
Gently cleanse your lashes and eyes regularly - using clean hands - with a gentle, non-oily cleanser.
Avoid using cotton balls, Q-tips, and anything fibrous around your lashes, to avoid getting it caught in your extensions.
Never pull, tug, or twist on your lash extensions.

For the best results, maintain your lash extensions with fills every 2 weeks.
Using a lash serum is the best way to maintain good health for your natural lashes.
Maintain cleanliness around your lash-line, and be mindful of removing your morning eye gunk.
Dry your lashes immediately after showers and swims. Use a paper towel! It’s non-fibrous and absorbs quickly.
Never brush your lashes when wet, dry them first.
Avoid using oily skincare, makeup products and removers.
Keeping your lashes clean and free from buildup is the best way to avoid a bacterial infection.
Makeup wearers will shed more, requiring frequent fills.

HEALING TIME: 1 Week
FOR THE NEXT 7 DAYS:
Sleep with your head elevated the night after your procedure, to prevent any swelling.
Keep your lips moisturized at all times, using your healing balm or gloss.
Apply your healing balm or gloss, only after you’ve cleansed your lips.
Avoid allowing your lips to become dry at any point during the flaking/healing process.
Continue to use your healing balm or gloss until scabs and flakiness are completely gone.
Keep lips moisturized and protected from UV rays for long-term results.
THE FOLLOWING MUST BE AVOIDED ALL 7 DAYS POST PROCEDURE:
• Kissing
• Spicy Food
• Increased sweating; Practicing sports
• Swimming/Saunas/Steam rooms/Hot Tubs
• Sun tanning, tanning beds or UV light exposure.
• Direct shower-spray on your lips.
• Laser/Chemical Treatments or Peels; Creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic Acids around your mouth.
• Picking, scratching, or peeling of the treated area in order to avoid scarring and/or removal of pigment.
• Performing tasks related to heavy cleaning where airborne debris is present.
• Smoking
• Consuming excessive alcohol - slows the healing process.
• Driving in open air vehicles (convertibles, boats, bikes, motorcycles).
• Excessively touching your lips, other than when washing and moisturizing them.

HEALING TIME: 2 weeks
Absorb any lymph fluid from your freshly bladed brows with a clean paper towel the first hour.
Cleanse your brows and then gently balm with the ointment given to you at your appointment.
FOR THE NEXT 14 DAYS:
Cleanse your eyebrows morning and night with a gentle, unscented soap or cleanser.
Keep your freshly bladed brows lightly balmed after cleansing - DO NOT OVER SATURATE. Only apply ointment/balm after properly cleansing the treated area. Using clean fingers and gentle pressure works well for this part.
Should your skin begin to feel itchy and dry, wash your brows again and apply a 3rd round of ointment/balm.
Do not pick, rub, or scratch any scabs and flaky skin.
Avoid direct sun exposure.
Avoid exfoliating or hair removal around the treated area for at least 2 weeks or until the skin is completely healed and not flaky.
Do not allow shampoo or conditioner to run over your brows while showering, as it may alter the color of your microblading.
Do not expose the treated area to unsanitary conditions.
Avoid applying makeup over and closely around the treated area until it is completely healed. Makeup contains oils that may cause infection.
Avoid hot tubs, steam, excessive steamy showers, saunas, salt water, chlorinated pools, direct shower spray, cardio activities, skin creams, ointments, or lotions (other than ointment/balm).
Avoid sleeping with your eyebrows directly on your pillow.
Avoid anti-aging or chemical exfoliants, completely, from the treated area as they cause fading.

HEALING TIME: 2 weeks
FOR THE NEXT 14 DAYS:
Cleanse your eyebrows twice a day with a gentle non-scented soap or cleanser.
Balm your brows after cleansing.
Do not pick, rub, or peel at your eyebrows.
Avoid steam, saunas, swimming, excessive workouts, sweat, salt water, retinols/glycolic acids, and makeup around your eyebrows.
Do not expose your brows to unsanitary conditions.
You will experience more flaking than scabbing, so keep your skin moisturized with vitamin e oil.
Avoid direct sun exposure.
THE FOLLOWING MUST BE AVOIDED ALL 14 DAYS POST PROCEDURE:
• Increased sweating
• Practicing sports
• Swimming
• Saunas/Steamrooms/Hot Tubs
• Sun tanning, tanning beds or UV light exposure.
• Direct shower-spray on your eyebrows.

• Picking, scratching, or peeling of the treated area in order to avoid scarring and/or removal of pigment.
• Performing tasks related to heavy cleaning where airborne debris is present.

• Consuming excessive alcohol - slows the healing process.
• Driving in open air vehicles (convertibles, boats, bikes, motorcycles).
• Excessively touching your eyebrows, other than when washing and treating them.

HEALING TIME: 2 weeks
FOR THE NEXT 14 DAYS:
Cleanse your brows with cool water and a gentle, unscented soap or cleanser.
Pat any lymph fluid from your brows with a clean paper towel, for the first 2 days.
On the 3rd day, begin applying your ointment twice a day, only after cleansing.
Avoid steam, saunas, swimming, salt water, excessive sweating, and direct sun exposure.
Do not pick, rub, or peel away at your brows.
Your eyebrows will be going through a complete transformation during the healing process and will heal up to 40% lighter.
THE FOLLOWING MUST BE AVOIDED ALL 14 DAYS POST PROCEDURE:

• Swimming
• Saunas/Steamrooms/Hot Tubs
• Sun tanning, tanning beds or UV light exposure.

Drinking beverages immediately after is ok!
Avoid eating for at least 1 hour after your appointment.
Avoid hard foods that you bite or chew into for the next 12 hours.
Avoid brushing for 12 hours. Avoid using electric tooth brushes for 2 days. Manually brush your teeth for those days.
If your gem falls off within weeks it is likely due to its placement on your tooth and too much contact being made from biting into hard foods.
For long-term care, avoid biting into harder foods using your tooth gem.

HEALING TIME: 1 week
Keep the area of the tattoo clean and washed. Use a small amount of healing balm given to you at your appointment, to apply over your tiny tattoo.
Avoid contact with chlorinated pools, hot tubs, sea water.
Continue to keep the skin clean and balmed until light peeling, or dry skin has subsided.
Use unscented lotion to maintain skin’s moisture, and use sunscreen to protect long-term.
